There was an old pond in a village. There lived a large number of frogs in the pond. The frogs were living there happily. One day some boys were passing by the pond. At that time, the frogs were swimming and croaking happily. Seeing this, the boys began to throw stones at them. All the frogs at once went down into the water. But the boys remained standing there with stones in their hands. The new game was a great fun to them. They went on pelting the frogs with stones when they raised their head above the water. Thus many frogs were hit hard and few were killed. At last, an old frog raised its head and said, “Oh boys please! please! stop the cruel fun. Don’t throw stones at us.” “It is a play. We are enjoying it.” said the boys. “Why should we stop it?” “What is a play to you causes death to us. This is why you should stop it.” answered the frog. The boys were ashamed of this. They left the cruel game and went away.

Failure is the pillar of success

Robert Bruce was a famous king. His kingdom was invaded by his enemies. He fought courageously but lost many battles. In order to save his life, he fled away from his kingdom and took shelter in a remote cave...........
The king was always in a pensive mood for his unhappy condition. Once he was lying in the cave. Suddenly he saw a spider trying hard to reach the ceiling of the cave. It failed again and again but did not lose heart. At last, it became successful after many unsuccessful attempts. Seeing this, the king felt inspired to regain his kingdom. He then collected his soldiers and attacked his enemies again. This time his enemies were defeated and he regained his lost kingdom. 

A Greedy dog

Once there was a greedy dog. One day he stole a piece of meat from farmers kitchen. Taking it into his mouth he started to run away from that place. On the way, he had to cross a bridge across a stream..........
While walking ahead, he looked down and saw his own reflection in the water below. He thought it must be another dog with another piece of meat. He wished to have that piece of meat for himself. So he barked loudly. 
As soon as he opened his mouth, his own piece of meat dropped into the water from his mouth and washed away by the current of the stream. Thus the greedy dog lost his own piece of meat.

The judgment of King Solomon

During the reign of King Solomon, there were two women in his kingdom. One of them had a baby. But the other women claimed that baby. As a result, there was a quarrel between them........

At last, they went to the court of King Solomon. King Solomon was very wise. Finding the truth he could solve any problem. When he saw that none left the claim of the baby, he thought for a while. Then he ordered one of his men to cut the baby into two equal halves and gave one half to each of the women.Hearing this, the second women became very happy. She said, “I am agreed with the decision. Please give me my half.” But the first women started weeping. She said to the king. “Do not cut the baby. I do not need my share. Give the baby to her.”The king understood the fact. He gave the baby to the first women and sent the second women to the prison.

The result of greed

Once there was a king known as Midas. He was extraordinarily keen on gold. though he had plenty of it, he wished additional. He thought, if he had the golden bit, he would be the happiest man. A wise god granted his want promptly. [*fr1] Associate in Nursing hour later, because the king was sitting in his garden...........

Suddenly a ripe apple fell beside him. The king picked it up. As he touched it, the apple was gold. He may hardly believe his eyes. Then no matter he touched everything was gold. once the king entered his palace, his very little female offspring ran up to him and he took her in his arms. Instantly she was gold. The king was stricken with horror and felt compassionate his want. in real time the wise god took the golden bit away and therefore the woman became human once more

A struggling woman

Marium is that the female offspring of a poor family. At the age of fifteen, her folks gave her in the wedding with a torpedo. He was terribly lazy. He doesn't do any work. thus Marium had to figure onerous to support her family. however, she was continually anxious what's going to happen if she provides birth to a daughter..........
Finally, she gave birth to a daughter. Her husband became sad and started to behave discourteously with Marium. At one stage she left her husband’s house and visited Dacca together with her female offspring in search of labor. There she took employment in an exceedingly clothes industrial plant. Her female offspring began to grow old. in the future, Marium came to understand that Government had created education free for women up to H.S.C. thus she sent her female offspring to high school. Her female offspring was a superb student. She created sensible results each within the S.S.C. and H.S.C. and have become an elementary school teacher. ultimately Marium began to examine higher days in her life.

Who will bell the cat?

There lived many mice in a house. A cat also lived there. They were very afraid of the cat. They could not move about freely. One day they hit upon a plan to get rid of the cat..........
They held a meeting. It was decided that a bell should be tied around the neck of the cat. Then they would hear the sound of the cat’s coming and no more be killed by the cat.
There was an old mouse in the meeting. He stood up and said, “The decision is good but who will bell the cat?” Hearing this, the mice began to look at one another and felt disappointed. Finding no solution, the mice eventually migrated to another house that had no cat in it
